Thanks to our partners, we were able to invest in 2016 in:
– A 4D scanner to provide high energy proton therapy for patients with ‘mobile’ tumors, that is to say, who oscillate with breathing.
– A new genomic sequencer model that enables analysis of molecular tumor anomalies in order to provide the patient with rapid personalized treatment.
– A transport respirator for the transfer of children treated with proton therapy in the event of a vital emergency between treatment room and recovery room and possibly outside the center.
– Pediatric stretchers to transfer children between treatment room and recovery room
But also baby equipment, toys, school supplies for children treated with proton therapy; shower seats, anti-slip chairs, pull-downs, a shampoo box to improve reception of patients in surgery etc …
