DESC CANCEROLOGY

Objectives: This degree is for physicians who have already validated another specialty (DES) and wishing to obtain a specific qualification in oncology, limited to their specialty. This teaching is organized inter-regionally and includes modules of theoretical teaching including a module of fundamental biology organized at Antoine Lacassagne Center by Pr Antoine THYSS.

ONCOLOGY DES

Head: Pr Antoine THYSS (Medical Oncology and Onco-hematology options), Pr Jean-Michel HANNOUN-LEVI (Oncology Radiotherapy option)

Objectives: The Oncology DES is open to interns who have passed the National Ranking Exam, based on their national ranking.

It has 3 options: medical oncology, oncology radiotherapy, onco-hematology. Interns must validate semesters in the qualifying services of their respective specialty.

CANCEROLOGY DUE

EN COURS DE REFONTE – INSCRIPTIONS SUSPENDUES

Objectives: To benefit from additional oncology training to optimize outpatient care of cancer patients regardless of the stage of the disease. This requires an Internet connection: courses are obtained on the website throughout the year from January to September. The final written exam takes place at the Faculty of Medicine of Nice. Practical internships are possible at the Antoine-Lacassagne Center

Suited to: General practitioners, interns, medical or paramedical professionals involved in the care of cancer patients: Masseur-Physiotherapist, Social Assistant, Dentists, Nurses.

UNIVERSITY DIPLOMA CERVICO-FACIAL CANCEROLOGY ON LINE

Heads: Dr Alexandre BOZEC, Pr Antoine THYSS

Objectives: To benefit from specific training in cervico-facial oncology to optimize global management of cancer patients with cancer of the face and neck. Online training only to eliminate travel constraints.

Suited to: Interns and doctors specialized in ENT and surgery of face and the neck, maxillofacial surgery, oncology and radiotherapy. It is also open to interns and doctors of other specialties showing a particular interest in cervico-facial oncology.

Examination modalities: The courses are delivered on the website throughout the year from January to June. Direct questions to teacher via an interactive system. Ongoing online multiple choice test every month. Final exam in September (University Institute of Face and Neck).

DIU SENOLOGY

  • from the point of view of diagnostic, therapeutic and surveillance strategies
  • from the point of view of technical principles for each therapeutic method

Suited to: Interns, CCA, Surgeons, Gynecologists, Medical oncologists, Oncologist radiotherapists, Radiologists, Pathologists, General practitioners

EXTERNAL HIGH TECHNICALITY RADIOTHERAPY DIU

Objectives: Master usage and specificities of various innovative techniques in radiotherapy currently available in routine care.

Suited to: oncologist, radiological physicist, dosimetrist with at least 5 years professional experience in the domain, of of DES in oncology having at least two semesters of radiotherapy experience

Capacity: 20 people

Cost: €913,10

Length of training: 1 year (100h course and 48h internship)

BRACHYTHERAPY WORKSHOPS

Head: Pr Jean Michel Hannoun-LEVI

Objectives: brachytherapy has greatly evolved over 10 years with the arrival of new sources and the use of 3D dosimetry. Knowledge of recent developments is useful for upgrading to technical and clinical services.
