FUNDAMENTAL AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH PLATFORM

The inauguration of Lacassagne’s Fundamental and Translational Research Platform on May 18, 2016, was the culmination of an already existing collaboration between cancer research teams for many years. This merger took place on the first floor of Lacassagne with a functional platform to optimize the quality of facilities and the high level of equipment in place.

This Research Platform gathers

• – A university reception team (EA 3836) “Unit for pharmacological targeting in oncology” of the Nice Sophia-Antipolis University of the Oncopharmacology Laboratory of Antoine Lacassagne Center, under the responsibility of Marie-Christine Etienne-Grimaldi.
• – 4 fundamental research teams from the Nice Cancer and Aging Research Institute: Pr. Paul HOFMAN’s team “Inflammation and Carcinogenesis”, Dr. Dmitry BULAVIN’s team “Oncogenesis and response to stress “, Dr. Gilles PAGES’s team ” Normal and pathological angiogenesis “, and the team of Dr. Jacques POUYSSEGUR” tumor Hypoxia and cancer progression”
